Vehicle Dismantler

Permanent / Full-time Monday-Friday (working on Saturday available) 08:00-18:00 Salvage Yard, Broadbent Road, Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL1 4HY
Rate of pay
From £13.50 to £15.00 / hour + bonuses (depending on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dismantling team within one of the North West's fast growing vehicle recyclers and used car parts exporters based in Oldham, Lancashire.

Key duties

Working on a ramp in the 3-bay / 2-bay workshop, this role will involve the removal of a wide range of car parts from different makes and models of accident-damaged and end-of-life vehicles. 

Key skills

The essential competencies required for the role include:

  • Previous experience in dismantling various vehicles
  • Attention to detail: accurate labeling and allocation of dismantled parts
  • Meeting and maintaining set targets and deadlines
  • Workplace health and safety: maintaining a safe and tidy working area
  • Working well within the team, being proactive

The successful applicant must be punctual and reliable problem solver who is comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment.
